Oro, which means "gold" in Spanish, made his in-ring debut on November 23, 1990. He teamed with Plata (his brother) and Platino as the trio Los Metálicos. It was soon discovered that Oro had something more than his two partners, though. His highrisk moves off the top rope were revolutionary in the day. He made his Japan debut in 1992. Because his name was so big over there, when he came back to Mexico, he began to team with such stars as Mil Mascaras and Ultimo Dragon. Following a shoulder injury in the ring, he knew his career would never be the same. In one of the most famous stories in wrestling, he told his opponents on October 26, 1993 to drop him on his head, a move that had recently broken the neck of All Japan's Kenta Kobashi. One of his opponents, Kahoz, gave Oro a clothline, spinning Oro around, landing him on his head. He was pronounced dead on the spot.

This is a black soft polyester mask with gold design and black mesh over the eyes (which does not hinder visibility).
